The National Youth Convention (General)

In order to make the SSVP Youth to move forward and participation in SSVP activities, all the youth must meet regularly at least I in a year to foster the link among the youth through out the country.

Therefore the yearly event National Youth Convention must held base on yearly basis.

Vincentians between the ages 25 to 45 are encourage participate in this yearly events.

We also welcome Catholic youth to take part.

The objective to have this National Youth Convention  are ::

Get together all youth Vincentian through out the country to exchange the fraternity and friendship.

1) To understand better the structure and formation of SSVP

2) Among the youth to organize the spiritual and formation

3) To get more Catholic youth like to join this big family through some youth interesting activities.

4) Let the Youth to attract Youth is easier than other methods. The youth must have their owned platform.

5) The State Council President shall appoint one State Youth Coordinator from respective State..

6) During the National Youth Convention, the 11 State Youth Coordinator shall elect the National Youth Leader to coordinate the team.

7) This National Youth Team shall serve as 2 year basis.

After the Convention, the National Youth Team should able to come out some concrete youth activities either from National level, State level or conference level.

Conditions:

1) The National Youth  team must be SSVP members between the age 25 to 45

2) The National Youth team is under umbrella of National Board, therefore any final decision must get approval from the National Board.

3) The National Youth Convention must be held annually.

4) The National Youth Convention should be held at the beginning of the year.

5) The National Youth Convention should be held in 4 regions which are Centre, North, South and East Coast of Sarawak respectively.

6) Centre Region consist of   State Council of Selangor, State Council of Wilayah and State Council of Negeri Sembilan, North Region consist of State Council of Penang, State Council Perak and State Council Kedah and State Council Pahang.  South region consist of State Council of Melaka and State Council Johor and East Coast consist  of  Archdiocesan Council Kuching and Isolated conference of Sibu

We do hope this structure able to gather especially Vincentian Youth when we meet each other and the spirit  of our Youth founder Blessed Frederic Ozanam  inspired  all of us. God Bless!!
